e-Record was originally released by the ATO as a temporary measure. A1-Record is specially designed for ease-of-use as a replacement for e-Record uses. It is suitable for micro businesses which are not registered for GST.
A1-Record is the easiest software for use in Australia. It includes all the basic ATO rules for GST and PAYG (Pay As You Go). It also includes Fuel Tax Credit calculations, recording and reporting. The BAS (Business Activity Statement) is similar to e-Record and, like e-Record, it provides an eBAS for sending to the ATO internet portal.
